Become A Medical Volunteer in Ukraine

There are two most common and recommended ways to join Ukraine’s medical volunteers – by applying through the official website of Ministry of Health of Ukraine or by joining paramedic and medical volunteering organization working in Ukraine. We are constantly trying to find more ways to help civilians and the army, including joining local hospitals in Ukraine and adding more non-governmental organizations (NGO) to our list below. 

Volunteer for “Ministry of Health of Ukraine”

On February 27, 2022, the Ministry of Health of Ukraine posted official instructions how to join medical volunteers in Ukraine. 

Our team contacted government officials about this volunteering opportunity, and they confirmed that they prefer to work with medical teams with previous work experience during conflicts, wars and disasters. However, individual medics can also apply.

Volunteer for “Doctors Without Borders” (NGO)

An international humanitarian medical non-governmental organization (NGO) “Doctors Without Borders” or Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) is conducting medical and humanitarian response in Ukraine and neighboring countries.

MedGlobal is a humanitarian and health non-governmental organization (NGO) that provides emergency medical and humanitarian help to Ukrainian refugees, distributing medical supplies and medications, training Ukrainian health professionals on certain skills online or in-person, and supporting field hospitals.
