Ukrainian children are not for sale. They must be brought home
Last month, Mykola Kuleba exposed a shocking tool used by Russia: an online database of stolen Ukrainian children — searchable by eye color, hair color, age, number of siblings, and even “character traits.”
We called it what it is: state-run child trafficking disguised as “adoption.”
After our announcement, the story went global, covered by major international media outlets:
🇬🇧 The Times – “Orphans up for adoption: Russia’s sick catalogue” bit.ly/3V1A60B
🇪🇺 Euronews – “Catalogue of stolen Ukrainian children” http://bit.ly/45yE2eo
🇺🇸 New York Post – “Digital child trafficking” http://bit.ly/4loeS7Y
🇬🇧 Daily Mail – “Catalogue of kidnapped Ukrainian children” http://bit.ly/3J4vapn
This database lists children taken from occupied territories. Many of them still have living parents or relatives in Ukraine.
They have been renamed, issued Russian documents, and are being raised to forget their homeland. Sorting children by physical traits is not only dehumanizing — it echoes the darkest chapters of history, including Nazi eugenics practices. It violates:
– The UN Convention on the Rights of the Child
– The Geneva Conventions
– The Genocide Convention (Article 2)
This must be on the global agenda.
Children are not bargaining chips. They are not trophies. They are not “adoption listings.”
They must be returned to Ukraine.
Save Ukraine will continue to fight for the return of every abducted child. We will not stop until they are home.
If you care about children’s rights and the rule of law — share this. Contact your representatives. Because children are not for sale.
