New Safe Expressions project begins
Eight-year-old Vitalik lost his home to war. His world changed forever. The boy feared the dark, flinched at sudden sounds, and often woke up in the middle of the night. During the day, he would not let go of his mother’s hand.
It is just one of thousands of stories of Ukrainian children who have witnessed the horrors of war. Each of them needs support and care. That is why, together with Crown Agents in Ukraine, we have launched the Safe Expressions project — a real path to healing through creativity and professional care.
💡 Art therapy will offer 300 children and 200 adults who have experienced evacuation or deportation a chance to find peace and inner harmony.
🎨 A children’s art exhibition will show the world the importance of mental health for children affected by war. It will be an artistic event and a powerful way to draw attention to this painful issue.
📚 And there’s more: 900 child protection specialists will be trained to recognize and respond to cases of sexual violence better, creating safer conditions for our children.
This project provides immediate support and lays the foundation for a safer future for our children. Every such step is a contribution to ensuring the effects of war leave no deep scars.
Join us in offering support! Together, we can change lives! 🙏
