We heal children's souls with the help of food art
In our “Hope and Healing” center in Gatne, children had a unique opportunity to express their feelings through food art. It’s a new trend in art, in which the main ways of self-expression are food products we are used to.
The task was to create a magical tree with the fruits of children’s wishes. The primary painting method happened to be regular pasta. At first, the kids were tense and insecure. They had a hard time participating in group activities and showing creativity. But after a few minutes, creativity won, and the children happily made their masterpieces and interacted with each other. After all, thanks to food art, they could see the extraordinary in ordinary things and learned to transfer their feelings to paper. That’s how self-healing comes. Working like a sponge pulls out all the negative and fills it with positivity, giving strength to move forward and see everything bright and kind around you.
