Urging the U.S. Congres to remember the children still detained by Russia
Over the last two weeks, five brave young people that Save Ukraine helped rescue, rehabilitate, and reintegrate have been in Washington, DC and New York, speaking with concerned Americans, telling their stories to the media, walking the halls of Congress, and testifying at the Helsinki Commission. They have shared their personal stories about Russia’s campaign of abduction and indoctrination, raising awareness of the 19,000 abducted children still held by Russia.
Their message is simple and resounding: just like us, those thousands of kids deserve to be reunited with their families and live in freedom in their homeland.
It has been an incredible, emotional trip, and we are overcome with gratitude for the solidarity of the American people in this critical time. Our work is far from over, and we need your continued support and attention to protect our children.
