Rescuing children is a complex process that requires the efforts of many people and close cooperation with the government. To make the search, return, and rehabilitation of children even more effective, the Save Ukraine foundation has joined forces with the Ministry of Social Policy, Family, and Unity of Ukraine.

We are combining our resources to rescue deported and forcibly displaced children, bringing them back to government-controlled territory. But after the rescue, an equally difficult journey begins: psychological recovery and reintegration in a new environment.

Together with the Ministry, we will work to ensure that upon their return, every child and their family receives timely psychological, medical, and humanitarian support. Through our joint efforts, we will assist in recovering lost documents and searching for relatives. For children left without parents, our top priority will be family placement.

Cooperation between civil society and the government is critically important when it comes to the lives of the most vulnerable. We are grateful to the Ministry for their trust and readiness to work together. There is a lot of work ahead, but our goal remains unchanged: to protect every Ukrainian child and restore their right to a dignified childhood.
