Our children had the privilege of singing alongside Kolya Serga in Washington!

This weekend, the Ukrainian House in Washington hosted an extraordinary and heartfelt concert. Ukrainian artists Kolya Serga and Taras Stoliar, who came directly from the front lines, performed their original military songs, stirring the American audience to continue their support for Ukraine.

The concert reached an emotionally charged finale with Kolya Serga singing “Home” accompanied by the ‘Save Ukraine’ children we rescued from the occupied areas of Ukraine and Russia. The longing for their homeland and the unbreakable hope of returning resonated with millions of Ukrainians today. This sentiment was deeply felt by our five young wards, who are anxiously awaiting the liberation of their homes, and by all Ukrainian children still suffering under Russian deportation.

The authentic performance touched everyone in attendance. We believe that the voices of our children in America not only highlighted the struggles they face due to the war but also inspired our Western allies to further contribute to the efforts for a brighter future in Ukraine!
