Our children had a fantastic time at the 'Pony Club'!
It’s well-known that children interacting with animals positively affect their mental well-being and physical health. That’s why animal-assisted therapy, also known as zootherapy, has become a valuable way to support the recovery of young Ukrainians affected by war. That’s why the team of the “Hope and Healing” center in Gatne organized a special outing for our youngsters to the horse-riding school, the ‘Pony Club.’
The excursion was full of emotions and excitement. The kids learned interesting facts about horses, observed their care, and even treated them to sweets. Most importantly, they had the chance to feel like young riders! The horses were exceptionally gentle and friendly, a crucial factor as these graceful creatures keenly sense a person’s mood and inner state.
The children shared their love with the horses, gaining countless positive impressions from interacting with them.
Our dedicated team continues to do everything possible to ensure that these little Ukrainians can find happiness despite the challenges of war.
