Meeting Held with Leaders of the Ukrainian Diaspora in Ottawa
This week, Save Ukraine’s leader, Mykola Kuleba, met with leaders of the Ukrainian diaspora in Ottawa, representatives of local organizations, and friends of Ukraine.
Together with Dr. Stanley Kutcher, the Foundation’s leader discussed the return of deported children from russia. They talked about the challenges in this process, the methods of indoctrination used by russians in occupied territories, and the importance of gathering evidence of war crimes. They also addressed the issue of Ukrainian boys being issued draft notices in russia and preparing for war against Ukraine.
Save Ukraine extends its gratitude to the organizations supporting our work, including the Ukrainian Women’s Association of Canada, Trinity Latvian Church in Montreal, Peace Latvian Evangelical Lutheran Church, Russian Embassy Protesters Ottawa, the organizers of the Ukrainian Lanark Country Festival, and the mayor of Carleton Place.
Sincere thanks to Stanley Kutcher for moderating and the Ukrainian Canadian Congress — Ottawa Branch for their support and organization of this event. The Ottawa Ukrainian Children’s Choir performance added warmth and inspiration to our mission for the future of Ukrainian children.
