Creativity as therapy
The other day, a workshop on salt dough modeling was held in our center in Kharkiv. It was the first experience of working with such material for many children.
Little fingers carefully kneaded, rolled, and shaped the dough, turning it into real works of art. It was nice to see how the children plunged into the creative process, forgetting about everything around them.
Such activities develop fine motor skills and imagination and have a therapeutic effect. They help children stressed by war to relax and express their emotions through art.
We are glad we could give our kids these moments of creative inspiration. Every smile is a small victory over the difficulties children face in Kharkiv.
We continue to work to fill children’s lives with bright and happy moments, even in the most challenging times.
