As the year 2023 comes to an end, it marks another year of tireless struggle for the freedom of Ukraine and the happy future of our children.

24 children whom Save Ukraine helped to return to Ukraine from russia and the temporarily occupied territories became participants of The New York Times photo project “Stolen Children of Ukraine”.

On Christmas Day, kids from our Hope and Healing Center in Gatne prepared a surprise for residents of Save Ukraine’s center for people with limited mobility.

Head of Save Ukraine, Mykola Kuleba, attended the demonstration of the new documentary film “Why Us?” illustrating how war devastates the lives of Ukrainian children.

Three more children have been successfully returned by our team from temporarily occupied territories. This concludes our 14th rescue mission, during which we saved a total of 14 children, seven of whom are orphans without parental care.

Yesterday, an enjoyable and memorable event took place at the @respublikapark for kids from our centers. Over 220 children enjoyed the rides at the Neopolis entertainment center, and the best part — it was all free!

These wonderful, sweet boys and their mother have been under occupation since the first days of the full-scale war. At that time, Iryna was already on maternity leave to care for her youngest son.

Yesterday, two more families whose homes were destroyed by rocket fire moved into new modular houses…

Dreaming is perhaps one of the most valuable opportunities that war cannot steal from our children. Despite the traumatic events that young Ukrainians continue to endure, they don’t stop dreaming big and small in their hearts. And these dreams are the key to bringing back their joyful childhood.
