Starting in July, specialized Mind-Body Medicine groups will launch across all Save Ukraine centers. This was made possible by training 90 new facilitators who successfully completed an intensive two-week program and earned international certificates from The Center for Mind-Body Medicine (CMBM).
These participants from across Ukraine are returning home not just with diplomas, but with highly effective, actionable tools. Very soon, they will begin their work on the ground—at our day centers, children’s camps, and across other Save Ukraine services.
Sessions will be held in small groups of 8 to 10 people and will be available to both children and adults. For the children we have evacuated from temporarily occupied territories, rescued from deportation or captivity, as well as for internally displaced families, these practices will become an integral part of their comprehensive recovery program, alongside our other activities.
To ensure the highest standard of psychological support, the new facilitators will work under the constant guidance of CMBM supervisors. This allows us to maintain the quality of care and systematically expand our support network.
At the close of the course, Save Ukraine founder Mykola Kuleba met with the facilitators. Despite the heavy workload of the two-week intensive, participants left feeling deeply inspired. They are amazed by the effectiveness of these new methodologies and are eager to share their knowledge with those who need it most right now.
We continue to strengthen our team to ensure that every rescued family receives the professional support and resilience they need to rebuild their lives.
